Newbie hunting for road reg'd race / track car

Hello from deepest darkest Dorset. This old Ex 911 owner needs to get back into something ideally 911 shaped that's ready (or close to ready) to hill climb / sprint race possibly in Porsche Speed Champs.
Could be anything from 944 to 964. Needs to be nicely put together but doesn't have to be pristine. Budget up to circa 20k.
If you have something that fits the bill or know someone who has, please get in touch.
To make space, I'll be saying goodbye to the The Alfa itch I scratched a couple of years ago, a '79 chrome bumper 2000 Spyder - pretty in white but don't expect to do so in these pages!
Happy to be part of DDK and ready for well deserved Alfa grief...

Found a stripped out 944 already with welded in cage and Sparco buckets but with a toasted old 2.5 motor. Just working through a build list to get it to a sensible spec and dip a toe into some Hill climbs / sprints.and hopefully plenty of grins.

Try sending a PM to Andy97 on PH Forum, he posts in the section UK Motorsport - races for modern classics and is selling his 924 maybe

Cheers Dave
Agreed to buy a 944 that's currently 'in build' at the very helpful and knowledgeable Marque 21 in Bridport. Keeping everything nice and simple so it's a relatively cheap entry into hill climbing and sprints.. See Haasad's post on dipping a toe into Motorsport for the thread on the build.
Thanks for the steer about the 924 :)

a DDK'er classicgarage has a 968 that was used for hillclimbs here in NI.
