If you make it between the 'north' and the 'midlands' you will probably get an overlap of Midlands people too.
I still think we should try and find a hotel for a Saturday night and make it more of a drive/meal/p155 up affair.....
I'm sure we could get a good deal somewhere....it's just agreeing the date that always seems to be the issue - earlier in Dec probably the better for most, especially those members who 'work' and have staff xmas parties and all that crap...

M62 is 45 mins down the A1 from me .... So would think we'd find somewhere down in that neck of the woods towards m18 ? I don't know the area though so will need to google somewhere

Once we get below Leeds, I have no idea where a good or bad place is to eat
Quick scan over Google for the Pontefract area ( 1/2 way between Nottingham & my neck of the woods ) doesnt result in much
Maybe a Xmas curry is a better option , as generally you can't go wrong with curry houses ?
Suggestions anyone ?
