DDK - Die Deutschen Klassiker

Short notice I know but Brendan and I have noticed the weather may hold for just one more week before the dreaded salt and thought a final get-together for a blether and something to eat would be a nice way to close a very eventful year so,

DDk Scottish breakfast/brunch on Sunday 2nd November (this coming Sunday) arriving any time from 8.30 am till 11.30 am at Nardini's in Largs. We will be there, hope you can too, spouses, kids, whoever, all will enjoy the fantastic food and ambiance in what I think is wonderful art deco surroundings along the prom at Largs. Bacon buttie or full Scottish breakfast or anything in between.......... Come in your car and have a natter, see you there,

Bloody hell, you wait for things to happen then they all happen at once.

This Sunday is of course the 2nd November and I have just filled a cancellation spot for a run up the Rest n be Thankfull Hillclimb and lunch at Loch Fyne.

I was just thinking to myself the other day what a fab DDK year this has been between CLM & The Scottish Trip. This little meet will help the DDK withdrawals until the next time.

Weather forecast is looking good and I am looking forward to a nice breakfast in one of my fav restaurants. I believe Mike/Dougie are planning to arrive around 10:30 as will I.

Just back from a great brunch with a few friendly DDK faces and the sun was shinning, even if the breeze was fresh.

Enjoyable morning despite my son Ben being less than happy with a sprained foot.
