Hi everyone,
I've always thought that a classic car should be older than the owner. Well, the older I get the less easy it is to follow that philosophy. So on that basis I didn't purchase a classic car this year, rather I purchased a '75 914 1.8 FI. Bought it with the idea of running it for a year before making any decision on engine upgrades/further restoration or indeed selling. Well, the weather has been very kind over the summer so I've had the chance to use her a lot and what fun that has been.
Are there any more 914 owners in the Birmingham area? Would love to meet up.
My username by the way reflects the team I support, not my sex or passion for aviary matters!
