Thread Sealant Recomendation

Hello
I'm after a thread sealant to use on my oil pressure sender unit. I had thought PFTE tape but not sure if thats best. I had a look through the locktite website and there appears to be a massive choice....
Does anyone have a recomendation for a thread sealant?
