Hi Everyone

Kit and I are taking part again this year on both days this time :bounce: :bounce: . It's a fabulous day out for all the family.

Good luck Margaret, I'll be watching your times from afar, if you get below 35's I'll be insisting that you wear gloves!
Have a great time and hope the sun shines, hopefully back next year.

Hi Paul

:bounce: :bounce: good forecast too!! Looking forward to a fun weekend zooming up that hill and will most definitely be wearing the gloves

Shame you can't be there but I'm sure your weekend in the Highlands will be every bit as good :)

Have fun.

Thanks Andy, had a brilliant day especially in the company of Brendan. Taking his advice and allowed him to reduce my tyre pressures to 29 rear & 26 front. PROMISED him that I'll lighten my car by removing spare tyre and stuff that's in luggage compartment

Final time today was 34.46 going to try and get another wee second off...so much for me not being competitive.

Brilliant day looking forward to tomorrow.. I think Brendan May have a few pics :)

Margaret and Tom really do epitomise all that is great about DDK. Spent a lovely afternoon with them and others at the Hill Climb is lovely warm sunny weather. What is it about DDK, Scotland and GREAT weather!

Did take some pictures on my iPhone which I will post later but for now here is a video of Margaret doing what she loves most (other than Tom of course), driving her Porsche 8)

Hi Margret and Tom, Good to meet you today and sorry I can't be there tomorrow to see you run again. What a wonderful atmosphere at the Boness Day.
Something so special at these 'club' days. So reminicent of the true essence of motorsport.
All the best for tomorrow.
I met two folk who were so, so intersteing. One building 906 replicas and one who knew most local (and more) things past.
Wonderful.
So glad I came.

Ian

Met a fantastic character called Bill Drysdale at the event. Twelve years ago is started a project to build a replica 904 from a single drawing that he had. Bill has made everything for the car, chassis, bucks, moulds and body and the Hill Climb was his first outing.

The car certainly is not at the standard of Andy's car but I'm amazed at the skill and determination of people you meet and I love the colour 8)

Hi All
Went along on the Sunday with the Gang from TIPEC to support Margaret was a great day sun shinning all day .I believe she did a time of 34.30 on the last run of the day was certainly trying .The 904 guy Bill Drysdale is a character been around this sport for years he told me he has a few moulds left .Great day there was a 911 driven by Hugh McKinnon Scottish Motor Services who was blistering fast did a 28.40 Now that's is a time Margaret wants to aim for

Really sorry that we were not there again this year - even more so now that I've seen the photos of Bill's 904. He has told me about it, but I've never seen it yet. It clashed with my own club's hillclimb at Wiscombe Park, and then I won some tickets for the 3 Lancasters event in Lincolnshire, so Hillclimbs took a back seat compared to that once in a blue moon event

Hope we'll get there next year - maybe even with the 911............. :bounce:
