Restoring a 1966

I bought the 1966 912 in the summer 2012, I drove it the 200 miles home an took it apart the next day...
I just wanted some new carpets, a small rust hole to be welded up.... that´s it...?
This summer 2014 it´s almost 2 years ago since, and several hours, money and decisions later, the car is nothing like what I bought 2 years ago.... far from.
The car was brought to a well-known body shop in Poland (Classic Mercedes and Porsche), stripped down, all the metalwork was done using only origin parts, which was to be found in France and Germany, Kroon Wiring made a complete new harness, gauges was sent to North Hollywood Speedometers, Carburetors was renovated by Gower and Lee, Paintjob by Jensen Paint Denmark.
The bodywork took almost a year, the interior, chrome work and undercarriage 6 months, paint job 3 months.
Every part that could be renovated with a successful outcome did, anything other are replaced.
The paint shop was told to wait a week between every layer and 2 weeks before it was transported back to my garage.
