This year the weather is guaranteed dry & sunny. The drive to Portsmouth will be clear & free-flowing with no unexpected road-works diversions.

Kindly turn up any time from mid-afternoon onward on Wednesday 2nd July and we’ll ready ourselves for the trip to France.
Even those not travelling with us – but local – are also welcome to come by and enjoy the fabulous weather and grub. You can wave us off.
Our ferry crossing is at 22.45pm and Brittany Ferries advise checking in at the marshalling yards at least 45 minutes before.
My house is about an hour’s drive from the Portsmouth terminal so we need to be heading south down the A3 no later than 9.00 p.m. I’d imagine we’d be all setting out from my house nearer 8.00pm though.
Let’s assume the coals will get lit at about 6.00 p.m.
