I would say the fisrt meet of the the year was a success and a good few of us turned up.

It was good to meet all of you.. sorry but the pictures are a bit blurrey becouse of the cold weather and chronic camra shake by yours truly.
:)

Image

Pictured are Kireron (Higs356) Black one just out of shot, Peter-Viper Green, Steve -Silver Targa, Gilbert - Red Targa, Gav - 912.

Myself (Alam) Luke, Gav's Brother and Nick were also present.

Image

Another Blurrey shot. Shame I couldn't get Kieron's black 911 in.

Image

We were positioning the cars at this moment and we had sort of created abit of a stir by moving all the cars around. Gave fellow classic car enthusiasts something to watch.
We basically to over the front of the Cafe.

Image

Ccccold Brrr shot of Steve's great Targa with Racing bumpers, 964 auto raising rear spoiler. Nice car..

Image

This powers the beast and its quite quick.

Image

Some of the fellas chatting by Gav's cool 912. Lots of cool.

Image

and again..

Image

Didn't meet Mr Martini the owner of this 911.

Image

Least shaky shot of Gilbert's clean Targa.

Image

The chaps posing for the camera.. kinda put me off so its out of focus.
Its for the best really. ;)

Image

Peter's car was very clean, a real nice car indeed.

Image

Gav is from deepest Balham South London, so just rebelled and parked his car slap bang in front of the doors. Not caring if people could leave in saftey or if those poor bikers could get pass.
These 912 drivers just do not conform to the rules. :)

Image

Another shot of the gang, Kierons car is cool complete with rollcage and two baby seats! Talk about getting around in style, what a baby wagen!

All in all it was a great night out. A good turn out from the DDk mob, and there were quite a few nice cars apart from the Porsche's to enjoy. When its less cold I will be taking more shots of other interesting machinery.
Lets make the April meet just as good and hopefully if I can work quick my R type 911 will be present too.

Ya cheeky monkey :) I was freezing my balls off and the camera didn't like the cold weather either.
Tripod would be a good idea though.. pics are pretty diabolical arn't they. Sorry 'bout that.

You guys sped off before I had a chance say goodbye. But it was great meeting you chaps. You looked a picture stuffed in that back of that 912. I could see that you used the cunning two seat contortionist position. Nice, do you have the feeling back in your legs yet mate?

Those of you who couldn't make did miss a good night, but then you should put the 2nd Tuesday of the month in your diary for next months ACE meet and make sure you are there.
It would be nice to see some of our northen cousins there too, if you chaps fancy meeting up and feel brave enough to venture down to the big smoke.

Nice to see everyone last night. Not a bad turnoput either - 5 cars on a salty evening. I don't see why we can't aim for 20 cars by the summer.

Nice to put some faces to the names.

It was a good evening. Good to put faces to names. Perhaps we can use Volksworld as an excuse for another gathering?

Did you guys see the dbl camera flash on nth circular as we passed ??
...Or was it just me :(

and then I had a crawl out the A4 'caus the M4 was closed was not the best

Alam --- still looking for a child seat which fits in the back with the roll cage ...I have the lagging for the cage but think I might need to remanufacture a seat for it

I do not think that was us, I am pretty aware of all the camera's on that road. It wasn't us.. if it was, do NOT admit it. Many ways round it ;)

I was just loving watching your ST Clone and Steve's car rumble on, it was awesome to behold and listen too aswell. Cannot wait to get my car out to play. I had better behave though as Steve aint scared of the loud pedal!
