DDK - Die Deutschen Klassiker

So today I headed out to the little town of Prichsenstadt for the annual Classic car event. As with last year the event is based around Wine, Music and Cars...the very picturesque town is taken over, you drive through the medieval gates and park up on the cobbled streets.

After 2 weeks of glorious sunshine it decided to pour down this morning, but there were enough breaks in the clouds to have a good wander around the eclectic mix of cars.....It also gave me the opportunity to give the Red Car its first proper run out since its seasonal refresh, it went down well with the locals

Apparently it handles like Bambi...

Car of the day for me was this stunning Abarth.....just had to keep going back and snapping it

It sounded and smelt amazing...

Looks like a great event Chris - in spite of the weather - with a nice variety of cars.

That red Abarth is lovely (one of my all-time favourite cars irrespective of price).

I currently have an urge to get a little Fiat - the grey 850 Coupe-based Abarth OT 1000 is another favourite but prices for those too have become silly ...
