Hello from Bangkok!

Hi Guys & Girls,
Just wanted to give a quick introduction and say hello. Originally from London but have lived in Thailand for the last 15 years or so.
Big Porsche & VW fan since I was a kid, had a few Cal-Look and Resto Cal VW Beetles due to reading Keith Seume's Volksworld magazine since its 1st issue.
Managed to get my one and only Porsche when I was 21, a 1980 924 Turbo in Guards Red with Cookie Cutter wheels, loved that car for the short period of time I had it before wrapping it around a lamp post.
Anyway, fast forward another 18 years and the Porsche itch is back with a vengeance, unfortunately Porsche prices here in Thailand are ridiculous and early models are very hard to source. Looked at a reasonable condition 1979 911SC Targa, but the price was almost 50,000 GBP, oh well back to saving!!
Some of the cars here are absolutely amazing, I've spent literally weeks going through the posts on DDK and thoroughly enjoying the read.
Regards to all,
Steve
