I'm currently looking at camping options for DDK @ Classic Lemans in 2014.

Unfortunatley, our usual camping area is now unavailable as Karting Nord campsite has now become a Karting track

So, we need to find an alternative.

To give me an idea of what people would prefer, I have listed 4 options in the poll. We can use this to see what the majority of DDK CLM goes would prefer . The prices are my GUESS at this stage , but give you an idea.

Options :

1. PH / 1st tickets Private Camping -

All in INCL Ferry : Approx £395 per person based on 2 people in a car - THIS INCLUDES FOOD & TICKETS AS WELL

The PH/1st Tickets camping area is planned to be on Bleu Nord (same location as for the 24 Hours), which is a short walk from the circuit and grandstands. The site will be in the region of 11000m2 with marked out and pre-allocated pitches, a good number of toilets and showers, a large marquee with race coverage, a cash bar, free Wi-Fi and catering. The site always has a friendly and relaxed atmosphere where like minded PHers can enjoy good company, PHer cars and the racing (click here to see our Facebook Gallery of the campsite). For your security the area is fenced with security agents on the gate 24 Hours a day, a night patrol during the weekend, and access restricted to PH/1st Tickets campers only.

2. Track based general camping

Camping £90 ?? ( for 2 people)
Tickets £190 ?? ( for 2 people )
Ferry £ 120 per car

Total : approc £200 per person based on 2 people

Hopefully Brian will have some options on this, but currently campsite locations have not be allocated etc etc

3. Camping Le Bounty

Camping INCL FOOD & free Shuttlebus : £225 pp
Tickets : £95 pp ??
Ferry : £120 per car ??

Total : approx £380 per person based on 2 people

I don't see the fourth option?

Is it our own private Ddk chateaux with swimming pool, French maids etc for 49.90 a night? :-)

Mike

Probably option one, but with alternate ferry/tunnel options rather than the long ferry to Caen :)
