DDK - Die Deutschen Klassiker

Firstly I would just like to say a big Thank You to Bootsy and the rest of members who have contributed to DDK in more ways than one.
Being from Singapore, the forum has been a great resource for the build and I am eternally grateful.

I shall summarize the restoration in a nutshell:
1970 911T RHD
2.4L, 915 gearbox hence the black grille.
911R inspired bodywork
Lightweight interior (in the works)
Always had inclinations towards "Green" projects.
Some usage of parts from other generations of the 911, a toned down Outlaw which I prefer to call In-Law

Needing headrests and a few details.

I like this style very much , that wheel looks different than the usual Prototipo what is it? And there seems to be a growing market for those "balsa" gearknobs...where would one purchase such a thing.....really coming together

Admire your work. Beautiful colour and nice paint but the later door cards and dash don't do it for me.
Each to their own though. Nice job.

The wheel is a vintage Momo. I got it together with the shift knob while trolling on ebay.

We only had a 964 dash available as the car did not come with its original. I know, the a/c vents are kinda an eyesore.
I hope to come up with something later.

Door cards are fully custom. Was going for something smart and simple.
The build is a mix mash of we could muster

There's a guy in Sweden makes them I think and there's a cheaper way of doing it by buying some right sized 'Holzkugel' from a German Ebay sellers, increasing the hole size, varnishing/oiling etc. I did this and have one fitted at the moment but wasn't 100% pleased with the result.

I found this little fella in a junk shop £3. He's given up his shell.
