.... The drive to Hexham is one of my favourite in the uk , and a Sunday morning run in the csl was too much to resist ;) dry start to he day , but as usual rain came in for lunch,

Real mix of cars at this show, from the skylines sat revving their engines to some rare dancing donkeys and my favourite Alfa 8c's . Had a good look around a superb charger and drooled over a very clean mustang.

Peter's new car is loverly and sounds so sweet 8)

Drives really well, oh yes it does. Was lucky to drive her for 80 miles or so last week trying to chase Peter peddling my car.

What a great evening.

Kind regards.

First fastlane show I went to was part of a DDK run, and thought the show was nice and relaxed, difficult to tell where the show ended and the car park began.

Interesting mix of old and modern, not to mention free to get in.

Think that was around 4 or 5 years ago, and expected the show to have got better.

Thought it was poor at best, not a lot to look at, and what was there wasnt that nice. (Apart from your new ride Peter)
£6 to get into a field with some cars in that took me half an hour to look at. Didnt even take any pictures.
If I went again, I would register my car for show, as you get in for free, and can come and go as you please.
But even for free, and only half an hour down the road, I wont be hurrying back.
Shame, as it is my nearest show, classic one later in the year, so hope its better.
Same place is having a big antique fair this weekend, its only £5 and I bet I am there for longer than 30 mins.

agree with you Stuart, show was very poor and don't think I'll be making the effort next year .. if it wasn't for the drive up there I'd have felt like I'd wasted a day.

There is meant to be a nice classic show up at kielder
