DDK - Die Deutschen Klassiker

Hello Chaps.

Newbie to the board here from sunny North Lincolnshire. I've had a number of later aircooled 911s, but I'm back in an '82 911 SC coupé that I plan to <whisper it> backdate to an early 70's style car over the coming year. I have a good picture in my mind of what I want to achieve and I'm taking my time looking at all the options to get me there. I look forward to picking some of your brains along the way.

Welcome to DDK! Good luck with your project...pics are always a good thing

I've been reading the boards avidly and scouring the classifieds for useful parts and I've just joined the club for the year. I've just completed a brake rebuild including calipers, hoses, discs and pads. Next job is suspension bushes all round and a new, backdated exhaust. The loose plan is to use it for the summer and start collecting backdate bits for a cosmetic refresh over the winter. I'll try to get some pics up soon. I don't actually have many other than one in RennSpeed's workshop on axle stands. I will be compiling a comprehensive photo file of the cosmetic rebuild though. Cheers.
