LOVE the colour.

And actually really like the genuine pics now PS have also - wasn't a fan of those all white photoshopped ones.

Nice to see this has been returned to its original signal yellow colour. Was previously painted light ivory.

Does anyone know what they are asking for the black S and the yellow E? Not showing a price on their web site.

Thanks

I think the S has sold - but I am tempted by that E - close to my dream colour (orange)......

We are restoring a RHD 2.4 E at the moment which the original colour is signal yellow. It is a combination of both PS cars, currently black but original colour yellow!

It was actually white. I drove the car from Southampton to Essex in September 2011, stopped off at gridgway's en-route and left the lights on so he had to jump start me. It as blowing a little smoke and there was the odd rust bubble here and there but I thought it was generally OK and I wouldn't have done much to it. I even managed an indicated 130 leptons trying to keep up with a white RSRalike.

17 months, lots of bodywork and an engine rebuild later, I'd say it looks the tits and ought to be a very good get-in-and-go car for someone.

It's also a *factory* RHD non sunroof car, which I don't recall seeing otherwise and has had sports seats from new. As the cherry - it was built late 72 so is tax free.

I wonder how much it is... I bet it owes plenty.

My bad memory :drunken: it was white not ivory.

I am going to take a punt here about why the car has no sunroof and sports seats. It was originally sold by the Roger Clark dealership near Leicester and I believe the original registration of the car was 3R. If that is true then it is a pretty unusual registration and you would have to be doing fairly well to afford that registration plus R and Roger would seem to go together. It would be interesting to see who the first registered owner was. Maybe Roger himself or maybe owned by Roger Clark Ltd and used as a run around/demo.

Interesting. I don't recall anything in the paperwork alluding to this, but well worth a fiver to see what the DVLA know.

Can anyone tell me the interior colour on the yellow one (while I await response from PS). Looks like it might be tan. In which case will anyone comment on the relative desirability, comparing and contrasting the yellow s which has now sold but took an age to do so. I really like the colour. Might be a nice garage mate to my speed yellow gt3 in fact.....

It's black, retrimmed by Southbound I think.

The seats are all plain black vinyl rather than half cord, which probably isn't correct but I think it looks very smart, I actually prefer it to the standard finish.
