Joke.
1. Something said or done to provoke laughter or cause amusement, as a witticism, a short and amusing anecdote, or a prankish act: He tells very funny jokes. She played a joke on him.
2. Something that is amusing or ridiculous, especially because of being ludicrously inadequate or a sham; a thing, situation, or person laughed at rather than taken seriously; farce: Their pretense of generosity is a joke. An officer with no ability to command is a joke.
3. Channel Five Programme
Classic Car Rescue
Season One Episode Two.
Porsche 911 "RESTO"
That is all.

yep, wasn't sure if the programme was comedy or a horror.
Settled on laughable, so it goes in the joke section right?
If you missed it you can view it on the CH 5 website to really get where i'm coming from
Either way these guys reckon a bodged up left hand drive 2.7 K-Jet running a "3.3 normally aspirated motor " (sic, lol) which has a bulkhead smugglers-box and steering shaft channel heading to the left side but steering wheel on the right side has not had any major work....
just a bad repair on the scuttle panel...OK THEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and it's worth £22K after the bodge up
and it's had a full resto inc. parts, paint and materials for £8K
(with between 5-7 people working on it for 21 days...)
I could go on but the blood pressure is rising...

Except they bought it for £6,900 then spent about 7 or 8K on the restoration (with no labour costs) and there is no way the car is worth mid teens let alone 22K. In fact I don't think it is even worth the £6,900 they paid for it the first place after the work (sorry the bodging) was complete.

Hey, I was just talking to Kev last week, he was asking about you, wondering if you still went to that `gentlemans club` you guys used to frequent.
We`re out to dinner tonight, it`s Hayleys birthday, I`ll tell him you were laughing at his house.
Cheers, Mike.

channel five bitza
All the right bits LOL...
I'm entering the competition for the car to see if I can win a spare 3.2 engine and a orange door stop
I wish I knew how to post a screen shot as a picture, showing the bulkhead is LHD but the car RHD and other awesome attributes of this vehicle.

I'm quite enjoying that, being in the middle of my own shed saga. Typical McCloud organically upisarse touchy feely sort of stuff but entertaining. Make your own glass from sand, cut a hole in a safe with a home made thermic lance, and dissolve bunnies in buckets of p1ss to make glue. Ere Kevin - ain't you never 'eard of the SHOPs?
But I am enjoying it
He's not your brother is he?
