I'm hoping I can find a home for my 2003 Bang & Olufsen BeoVision 32 DVD television for the price of a donation to the DDK 10k for 10 years.
It is a great telly and also a great bit of design furniture to sit in the room. The picture qualitiy is excellent even though it is a CRT type telly and now out of fashion, but I think it has a great deal of retro charm to it. The sound system from the built in speaker can rival most stereo systems and the built in dvd player can also play music CDs. It comes on a motorised stand which turns to a preset position when switched on so still possesses a good deal of wow factor.
I can't upload a pics as I'm travelling, but i can email them to anyone if you Pm your email addresses. Some product details: http://www.beoworld.org/prod_details.asp?pid=571
Mine is in a dark grey colour.
I left it with my sister when I moved to Singapore a few years ago but she now need to convert their TV room into another room as their family is growing. I would love to bring it to Singapore as I think it is a great piece of design, but the shipping cost is too high.
It's a heavy lump so will need 2 people to carry it but does have carry handles at the back.
Comes with remote and all books, will need collecting from Twickenham area.
Highest bidder gets it, all funds go to the DDK charity drive so dig deep if you fancy a nice telly, you never know they might be collectors just like old Porsches! I'll let the auction run until Saturday 29 September at 1300 hours and the telly will require picking up within a week of that.
