Centre Seat Belt Retro Fitting?
My centre cushion is without a seatbelt/lapbelt. Any suggestions of what to use?

Lap belt across it, use the buckle mounts on either side (with suitable boltage). It's possible that there are additional mounts either side of the tunnel (I seem to recall someone mentioning this before, but I could be wrong). Else you you mount some harness bolts in the centre of the firewall.

Only if a the lap belt kit was fitted, is was only added as an request option on a handful of 914s.abm914 wrote:It's possible that there are additional mounts either side of the tunnel (I seem to recall someone mentioning this before, but I could be wrong).
The centre cushion never came with a belt as standard.
The cushion is an added extra. In the early days, it was mentioned that a very small person could seat on the cushion to make it a three seater.
Porsche did sell a kit, but I think it has long been discontinued. 914.803.021.10
A lap belt used in the front of a car, built in the 1970’s, I don’t think this is legal here in the UK.
