Uneducated throwback Police Constable in a low-budget 1970s sitcom calls the station for help saying there's one of those jungle-bunnys dancing on a volkswagen and he needs backup. The tab-smoking, morbidly obese Operator replies 'you'll have to repeat that, Sunshine, as i've got a tasty bit of skirt here munching on my Spangles...'
'Ok' says the Constable: 'Zulu... Tango... Golf'

With thanks to Love Thy Neighbour, On The Buses, Doctor in the House, Robin's Nest and Thames Television, Teddington Lock, Middlesex etc...

Ha Ha I agree Keith. Plenty of non-political possible variations though running through the phonetic alphabet? Still giggling here as a result of your "conversation" with Geoff
