Hello from another stowaway ;)

Hello everyone,
let me (finally) introduce myself, my name is Jan and I am a 30yo 911 enthusiast from Bavaria/Germany, currently living and working in Zug, Switzerland.
I came across this fantastic community at some point, enjoyed it so much that I became a member in the meantime but totally forgot to introduce myself.
To give you a bit more of a background, I was born and raised in the Munich Area of Germany. After school, some internships and studies took me all over Germany and some other European countries, most importantly Scotland for a 4 month foreign exchange semester. Fantastic country that makes me return at least once a year.
In the early 2000's I got infected by the 911 aircooled virus during an internship at RUF Automobile. At the end of my studies time I was lucky enough to spend some time at Weissach R&D for my graduation thesis.
So last year I found this green little bugger in Hamburg, a matching numbers 1972 2.4T Coupé. It is in a road legal state and still carries all factory ordered extras: sunroof, S dials, S anti-roll bars, sport seats, 6x15 Fuchs wheels, yellow fog lights and best of all: the colour.

Downsides were a missing 72 oil tank system (mostly done), an incorrect dashboard and a missing Blaupunkt Frankfurt (done). Two of the wheels are correct flat six, the ones at the back are deep six. Although I like this classic tuning setup, I am looking for two more 06/1972 dated flat sixes. Some more parts are in a run-down shape (map pockets etc.). And of course a lot of bodywork to be done in the future as with almost every "Ur-elfer". Weird enough, the car came with a 4-speed 'box among all those S options. Just lately I found a decent 1973 915/02.
As my name suggests (=rust runner), my rides sport an undefined amount of iron oxide (this is about to be changed hopefully:). Apart from the Green One I call a 1996 Golf VR6 Highline my own - my first own car that I have been painfully maintaining since 2002.
That's it for now, I am glad to be here.
Regards,
Jan
