New to DDK Site

Post by jdilger »

My name is John Dilger and I am new to the DDK site. I am on the Board of the Early 911S Registry (www.early911sregistry.org) and I edit, publish and take the photos for our magazine, ESSES. I am interested in seting up times to do interviews and take photos of your member's cars at Classic Lemans starting on Wednesday for the magazine. I want to devote a lot of space for stories about the member's cars and the cars in the race. If you are interested in doing an interview and can give me 30 minutes, please email me directly at johndilger@aol.com. I am in the US on the West Coast. I have a hand held recorder, all you need to do is talk about your car and I will take the photos. I will send extra magazines to each person that I do a story on.
I also need some help with locating shops that do repair/restoration and race services of early 911s. I want to do a series of articles on these shops in the UK, France and Germany. If you know of a shop where they speek English and you want to give them some press, please email the address, contact and contact information to johndilger@aol.com. We will be staying in London, Paris, Colone and Stuttgart.
The last thing I need is some help with Classic Lemans.
Is there paddock access on Wednesday and Thursday?
Are there generall admission grandstand tickets?
Can I do the track drive in a rental car?
Where is the DDK campsite located?
Anybudy have experence with the specal Dinner and drink packages?

Thsnk for your halp in advance and I look forward to meeting everyone.

Hi John - welcome to DDK !

You'll find that quite a few of us here on DDK are also Early S Registry members - I'm 'andyjboy'.
