Nice Alan
Some lovely work as usual.
Are you staying with black horn grilles?
Do you have to lift the bonnet to fill up?
Is it dalmation blue (sea Blau)?
What's the engine spec?
Will you post pics of the shake down run with Nick Faure?
Regards
Mike

Just the kind of Fun-Car we would expect from you!
Fab.
NF driving that will be a blast esp if you can ride shot-gun.
Hope you will take a vid clip for us.
Read his book once and the tip to recover an errant 911 at the heat of the moment I have adopted, and it certainly works (on a hillclimb)

Thanks for all the kind words. We will be sure to photo/video the track day with Mr Faure. I suspect it will be at Castle Combe but this may change, a good friend is organising this for us.
With regards to the spec, the tank is one we made starting with a later new Porsche tank and removing the recess where the spare would sit. I went with black grills as this is what the car which acted as the basis for this car had (all be it a mess grill). The colour is Oxford Blue 3535, also called Seablau/Dalmation blue. Gearbox is a 915 with oil cooling and ZF slip diff. Engine is a short stroke 3.2, twin plugged, GE80 cams, 46 PMOs, headers and our modified muffler, heads fully built and flowed, all fully balanced and lightweight, plus lots more. All new suspension, brakes etc. Our own interior with our own roll cage etc. With the torque this motor has and the weight of this car, (many glass panels, plastic windows (bar the screen), no underseal anywhere) the power to weight ratio should be good.
Thanks again for the kind words
Alan

Hassad:
The one where you get oversteer, and just before the evil flick back happens you let the wheel go freely slipping through your hands.
When it stops you grab it hard and bury the throttle deep as the carpet will allow.
It drops opposite lock into the chassis so fast the chassis cannot over react.
Used it several times when in a pickle on a hillclimb.
Jonathan Williamson is a master of the craft!
Oddly, the Lola seems to respond the same way.

Absolutely stunning. Is it a keeper, and will we be able to see it at CLM this year? I hope so
