DDK - Die Deutschen Klassiker

Hi my name is Jamie I am the person responsible for Mikes 911 RSR Prototype rear arches and other metal work, I am new to the site so please bare with http://www.ddk-online.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=15294 I am the one on page 33 and 34 with the hammer in his hand. Due to a bit of a personal life meltdown I find my self in a position to do a little traveling and am trying to find a restoration body shop in need of a restoration welder / panel beater. I have all my own tools and plenty of experience. I currently work for a company in Essex called Sportwagen I can provide hundreds of shots of my work when needed and I am looking to find work in Europe somewhere Germany, Sweden, Norway and want to stay working on Porsche so this seemed like the logical way to start looking. I am sure my current employer Bruce will give me a refference and hopefully somebody out there can point me in the right direction.

just to add to what Jamie has said, he's a great guy and will be a sad loss to Sportwagen, but he's got itchy feet and feels the
need to move on. As you can see from the thread his work is exceptional, not only his skill with the tools and his craftsmanship
with metal, but he's a delight to deal with and takes a great interest in his work. With me he really got into what I was trying to
achieve and worked with me in reshaping and trying out ideas until we were happy, he was just as excited to see his work in
paint for the first time as I was.





What hasn't been photographed in paint yet are the front arches, they took just as much work and look stunning again, again
different to an RSR and it was the time spent on the lip and edge to get it just how I wanted where Jamie worked his magic.

Thanks so much for your help Jamie and I know you will find great new challenges for that welding machine and hammer and
dolly ahead of you, good luck for the future

Just thought I'd take a moment to thank every one for there effort and time MIKE , James,Helen,Steve,Andy and you Alan Thank you so much. I wasn't sure if this was a good idea at the start but is turning out better than I ever thought. I am just trying to upload some pics of a door skin I repaired for a 1952 pre A 356 so you can see a little more of my work. Well I say repaired, most of the original skin was to bad to save but the top was ok and later on I let in the handle area. The remaining front section you'll see in the pic's also had to go as it had been to worked in the past so had shape issues to the wing, but anyway. Thank you all Jamie.
