Does anyone have any thoughts on values/availability/general market views of 911 swb cars at the moment?
I quite fancy getting one - any pointers?
cheers

That's a bit like asking how much is a house costing these days. There are so many variables I think you are going to give a few of your requirements eg
Renovation
Concours
Rhd or lhd
911 coupe or swt
Matching numbers
All original
Normal or S model
Etc
What exactly do you fancy?

I have done the tip-top condition thing in the past and it became clear to me that ultimately I became afraid to use it.
What I would like is therefore something that isnt precious and can be used equally in anger on track days, sunny days, shopping expeditions or blasting down to classic le mans.
To narrow things down a bit, my ultimate spec would be lhd, coupe, non-sunroof, not necessarily matching numbers, not full of rust, not falling apart, sound in wind and limb sort of thing. Dont want a cage and fire eater or any of that sort of thing (ooh and ideally slate grey). Very happy to make it a project to get it to that state
So, whilst there's a large element of "how long's a piece of string" in the question, I'd be interested in any sort of "marketplace discussion" or thoughts on how to acheive that sort of spec.
Best
Will

Not slate grey but a possible rust free 912 to 911 conversion in black.
Just throwing it in the ring to give you a price of a ready to drive car.
