Hi all
I am seriously tempted by this car in Cali. Seller says matching numbers, absolutely no rust and runs perfectly. Has had a glass out, doors off repaint about 5 years ago. Would probably be about £28k by the time it's in my driveway.

What do y'all think? Have never owned a 911 before but have a 79 928 so am familiar with old Porsches and their foibles.

Discussed here. Possibly some question on the matching numbers.

OK thanks for that. It's a lovely looking thing though.
I just wish I had jumped on the Albert Blue 2.2E at Paul Stephens. That is my perfect spec down to a tee but I was moving house at the time...

with an early 911 / 912, if it's been restored previously you really need to see it in the flesh or have someone you trust have a good look at it. ... some "restored " US cars are notorious for looking a lot better in the photos than in real life .... might not be the case here, but you don't really want to find out once its' been shipped & sat on your driveway
Other peoples standards / expectations might not quite match with your own
