They are coming out woodwork as one went over £100k a couple of weeks ago.
Here's another.

I can think of a lot of other cars I'd spend my 100k + on but each to their own. Another collectors car destined never to be driven...

The 993 Turbo S is a bit misunderstood as the 996 and 997 Turbo S were basically just little power hikes and a lot of folk think the same is true of the 993, but it's actually a very different car to the standard Turbo as it comes out of the same department as the GT2 and RS and it is super rare - 31 built in RHD.
It's probably true that in terms of the actual driving experience it's not worth double what a 993 Turbo is, but it's the exclusivity and collectability that makes it the money it is - same as with all these cars really.

No it's dealers Sam that have done that persuading 'non driving collectors' that this is the case.
For the last 7-8 years they were about 15-20k max above standard 993 turbo prices.
It's only last 12 months or so with a few stupid waste of time hardly ever driven models coming to Market at silly prices for silly collectors
IMHO of course
PS My mate had one and I drove it quite a bit. In terms of driving experience on the road or track it's NO different to a 993 turbo at all. The only time you can really tell is when VMaxing it on a runway....it will top out quite a bit higher than a standard.....well maybe up to 10% standard S vs standard turbo

Are 993 prices still rising in general then?
This one looks like better value, sold with a warrenty as well.
I personally wouldn't have tiptronic though.
