Porsche 911 PS Classic Touring

PS Autoart build exceptional quality, bespoke 911s with classic styling and modern features and performance.
Every PS car is entirely rebuilt and finished to a standard above that of an original car when it left the factory. From the quality of the paint to the detail of the interior and the mechanical performance of the car, each PS maintains the character and engineering integrity that makes Porsche cars so special but adds a degree of finish and attention to detail that we believe is unsurpassed.
The PS Classic Touring is based on a galvanised 911 chassis and designed to offer a traditional driving experience but with improved reliability, comfort, handling and performance.
This example was originally built in 2006 and was supplied to a gentleman living in London who used the car extensively, covering 26,000 miles and always having the car carefully serviced and maintained.
As with every new PS car, all of the mechanical components are rebuilt : The fuel-injected engine displaces 3.2 litres and produces 230bhp along with a broad, useable torque band. The 5 speed box gives brisk acceleration and relaxed, comfortable cruising. The suspension is supple, the steering sharp and the brakes powerful. The car goes in a way that belies its classic styling and is capable of surprising most modern sports cars with its pace and handling. The more modern powertrain and galvanised chassis give genuine, turnkey reliability all year round and every day use is very much a possibility.
When the car came back to us earlier this year, it was clearly mechanically excellent, but the cosmetics were showing signs of 5 years of city use and we took the decision to return the car to cosmetic perfection. Every component was removed, refurbished and detailed as necessary, the wheels stripped and re-anodised and the body painted back to perfection in Porsche Slate Grey, the same shade as the famous Steve McQueen 911 S. The 2+2 interior was retrimmed in black with basket-weave inserts, leather dash, salt and pepper carpets and lightweight door cards. Any other cosmetic item showing its age was restored or replaced and the car is now genuinely indistinguishable from new, but available without the usual 12 month wait and at a useful saving over the price of a new build.
The car is sold with our in-house warranty covering every mechanical item except brakes and tyres (all new) for a period of 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever is sooner.
A classic 911 without compromise.
