this is a bit of an unusual creation, i followed the link from the porsche pic of the day thread and had a read..
http://autokennel.com/AutoKennel/old_cu ... _Frog.html
i'm not thinking of buying it (unless my ability to pick 6 numbers improves) just wondered what peoples opinions are of the car?
I'm really impressed with the amount of work thats gone into the car and the parts used certainly fit the bill.. ..just not sure about that front bumper and the arch extensions?! having said that, its certainly different, and NOT for the feint hearted / wallflower types
the wheels are something else though, i can't get enough of them

I love it, would suit me down to the ground.
And no, I'm not a wallflower!

Looks brilliant.

Yes the front looks heavy, but I think it suits the type/age.
Anyway - predictably enough coming from me: it's in LEAF GREEN, so I'm bound to love it.
What do the IB boys over on JG's forum think of it?

Its been for sale for a good 3 years I think and has had a colour change in that time to try and sell it and its still not sold. I love the race look in your face Porsche and this is kind of cool but I'm guessing its one of those cars you need to see and drive in person to decide if you could actually 'live' with it.

am quite surprised this car hasnt sold
if I was in the market for a high end early car I'd stick in a low bid, rip the bumpers off, and refinish as a 73 RSR which as we know were homologated with 3 litre engines.... I know its not a 930 but surely far prettier and more usable? missing a massive trick presenting it as a far uglier 74 car imho

I know im probably going to be banned for saying this, but i really love the '74 one linked above
I think the front bumper and the wheel arches look way better than the green car, and I'm not sure I'd want a turbocharged engine in an early car - seems a bit out of character to me
