I don't think there's too much wrong with it.
It looks like a very nice car.
But it shouldn't have chrome front grilles and I don't believe those chromed 16" rims were ever standard. No way.

I wonder if this car really has had a 'full rebuild' by Neil Bainbridge - the photos look like they are taken in California ...

... & looking briefly at some of their other cars, I notice that the photos of the yellow 25k miles '69T are all taken at Fantasy Junction in Emeryville California.

Don't know the owner but seen the car, and the 'full rebuild' by Neil was an engine rebuild.
Looked nice apart from those wheels, being refurbed to correct finish but still 16's.........

The car is in uk ............mechanical work huge engine job at Neils, i ve seen it its pretty much as they say ...............have seen a few American cars with 16 " wheels from new , dont know why but they ordered them that way ,but agree on the highly polished bit ....yuch!

The current owner has several 911 s and truly knows his stuff!

don't think 16" rims was an option in 1973

I cant truly explain the wheels BUT it has them on the original order and a Porsche cerificate of authentication from USA

i have seen a couple of S in Germany , one is at Tom Schmitz Gulf blue and another was at Freissinger both with 16 " from new

I’m just amazed at the price of earlier Porsche’s going progressively upwards over the past year or three

Definitely a rising commodity, maybe even better than Northern Rock shares

The wheels will no longer be chrome but they are still 16s. If you or anyone knows anyone with that budget, please can they consider.

Only one way to check the authenticity, that's check the date stamp on the back. I certainly wouldn't believe a CoA.

The car is cheap compared with what we saw at Essen.

Kenny's car purports to be better for being original rather than restored, though I've not seen it. As mentioned above, he's certainly a sensible and knowledgeable chap. If I were after a LHD S I'd have a look.
