first post, new member.
have owned 74 carrera targa for just over a year now. Last year we had a week in Austria.... Gmund, Grossglockner etc. then Lemans Classic ... drugged and robbed and ignored by circuit authorities then Golf de Morbihan in september. plagued by overheating ...hopefully now sorted.. a job list that gets longer by the day.. but then you spark it up. Be still my beating heart!!!!!!
Targa top noisy ( front rail worn in one plce so hook jumps off. Also locating 'dowels' loose (threads overtightened)
Targa top leaks
Window winder knackered (both sides)
mileometer u/s( speedo works)
Spring plate bushes worn( can only get new if buying a spring plate as well. Don't really want harder ride.)
exhaust tip too short? (marking paintwork)
new carpet
drivers side pedal board
I expect there is more heyho.
