Chassis plate info

OK Now have a chassis plate and it needs:

Front Axle Weight = I added 400kg...?
Rear Axle Weight = I added 600kg...?

Max Gross Weight - what do I need to add here? Is this the max permissible weight plus passengers and fuel?

Max Train Weight??? Whats this for?

Paul,
Again the front and rear axle weights are fine, so max gross weight is 400+600=1000kg. You don't need to stamp this on your plate, just the chassis number and engine number isrequired for now. You can stamp it when it's passed the weights. If it did fail then you would need to get another plate.

Max train weight don't apply to you, as it for towing trailers.

Just received this from Pilgrim - they don't usually reply!

The Speedster Axle weights are as follows:

Axle 1 = 400K
Axle 2 = 600K
Gross = 1000K
Train Weight = 1500K

thanks Rich. Off to engravers to get plate made up. I knew I'd seen the 400/600 somewhere but spent an hour looking and couldnt find owt on tinternet!
