Does anyone know if £1,500 ono is a fair price for one of these? It came with a car I bought and was told by the owner it had no leaks and I’m selling it to fund a wiring loom for a project car?

Sounds about right to me. With sender and hardware.

They seem to float around. £1,200- £2k, depending on condition.

If you are not in a hurry, i think you could sell at your price.

Patience is the name of the game.

Just my opinion.

What are the 'ribs' like on the underside James ?

They get worn down when contact is made with the road & can eventually lead to leaks.

The tank looks to be in good condition & the price sounds about right if it's undamaged but they don't seem to be selling easily in Europe at the moment.

Thanks Guys,
I'm not looking for the top price or the bottom price just fair so will include the sender which I also have.

The ribs have wear and I'll post some photos when I get home on Thursday

Thanks for the feedback james

The wear on the ribs is similar on my one , no leaks , but I suspect they all wear in the same place
