Darn rear lights - took them to bit today to switch the indicator and brake lights. Isn't there a euro/UK ok one available?

Got the battery tray fitted today. How slow is that!?

ps whats the best way to fit the front headlight??

Looks great... now the fun really begins, l see a few late nights coming ahead and take your time and please please dont scratch it. Look forward to seeing Kev in the flesh HAVE FUN

should be a pre-fitted mounting hole at the bottom of the bowl to screw the headlight in and the top just hangs of a small bracket riveted to the underside top if that makes sense.

if you don't mind extra work (bodywork) to get doors etc to fit! Not sure if they are selling the bodies now - I believe they sell Willys body from over in holland but they don't offer much in the way of spares or build support - have suppliers in mind, or buy from places like Chesil..

My body had L&B on it stamped in the headlight cowl.

hmm no pre fitted securing lug. Also I have the cut out at the top but mine is about 30 degs down the right side.

May see if I can use a rivnut to secure the bottom.

Take piece of flat steel about 25mm wide, 60mm long, 1.5mm thick. Bend up the end 90 degrees about 5mm. Round over the top to the same shape as the top of the headlight. Drill a hole in the long flat. drill corresponding hole in the top of the headlight bucket. Slot it to allow adjustment. Bolt in place, letting the lip protrude enough to hang the headlight over it. Hang the headlight, drill a hole at the bottom through the lug in the headlight. Bolt in place. Adjust to suit. If you want to be flash fit a seal around the headlight bucket. Either way drill a hole in the headlight bucket at it`s lowest point to let the water out. The indentation you have at 30 degrees is to clear the adjusting screw.

if your going to use a rivnut, check the thickness of your fiberglass at the bottom of the headlight, pritty sure it will be to thick for a rivnut and may split/crack your new paint... Hang the headlight as Speedstars suggests and drill the hole at the bottom, they may have just used a flat plate sandwiched between the glass to drill through to fix to???. If not just use a longer bolt and use a nut on the back??

Has anyone got a wiring diagram for a pilgrim speedster? Got some wires I cant ID

I do. What colours are they? Don't have a scanner to hand.

great - I have 3 bunches of heavy brown wires:

1 at the end of the loom with a red marker on it - also there are 2 more wires - a blue and a white that I haven't traced.

2 further up marked black (with a brown with yellow stripe?) and red (with a blue? and a black (earth)).

2 red up further still, with yellow eye type fixings with a thin white wire with red stripe.
