Nigel Cousins beautiful Speedster rep is the best I've ever seen personally, just stunning attention to detail. Is there anywhere online I can read more about his car?
I know he's a member here, but he dosent seem to have posted in a few years sadly.

If anyone knows which issue that would be great. I've already tracked down Volksword July 2007 which has a nice feature on this car, I'm kinda stalking it you could say
Btw, everyones doing good work in the ddk, I admire anyone building there own car, I just like this one in particular as it shares my own vision of what building a replica should be about, plus I share Nigel's perfectionism bordering on obsession if you don't mind me saying. I'll dig out some more pics after dinner..

A bit worried that I have a stalker, here is a photo of what you can't see with the front hood closed, completed this upgrade last year , and a clue to the current improvement project for the other end of the car.

Hi Steve, glad the brakes are still tip top. Rich yes I did the fabrication it took a long long time in the planning and manufacture. The tank details came from a 356 registry member in the states who has an original speedster with an 80ltr tank, I then had to get a die laser cut to form the correct swages and pattern. I then made a wooden buck to form the shape. The tank is baffelled with a roll over valve for safety and to prevent surge.The tank straps are ali and the 14mm headed bolts (no 13mm on a 356) are high tensile ali as well all to offset the weight. I also formed a whole new front section of the inner truck area to accomodate the steering box cover which is ali with the correct access plate. Whilst at it I also formed the correct pressing patterns on the sidewalls and added the lower horn relay covers to get the front detailing correct. The battery cover is also ali. Some people may ask why and I say why not,if you finish a car you sell it, I think it's better to just make it as good as you can get it and you will never get there. A few more pictures to show some of the detailing.

WOW the work you have done is amazing! I don't know about stalkers you could perhaps call us disciples!
What's the rear end upgrade you are planning, is it 914 or 911?
That is a must have upgrade for my car, please would you share your knowledge on how to build such a thing of beauty?
