I bought a pair of rear lights from the states that had red lenses. I have just bought a set of orange and red lenses to satisfy the SVA/ MOT. The problem is that the lights are on the wrong side for the lenses !!

Is this normal ?? can they be converted ??

You need to swap the bulb holders over. In reality this means removing the old ones and fitting two new ones (they are difficult to remove and and one of the original ones is a smaller diameter than the other and can't be fixed in the other larger original hole).
