Porsche 356 Speedster replica by Tygan (Chesil)
This 356 Speedster replica is quite probably the prettiest we have had. The black coachwork and oxblood red leather work beautifully together and the car in in exemplary order.
It was built new in 2009 by Tygan, who were formerly known as Chesil and are probably the best known producer of these cars in the UK. It has covered just 2000 miles in the hands of one owner.
The car was very highly specified when new including the following options :
* Independent rear suspension
* Top spec twin-carb, 2.0 litre, 110bhp air-cooled engine
* High ratio gear box
* Remote central locking
* High-back sports seats
* Full leather
* Heater
* Under-dash stereo system
* Heated front screen
* Rear seats with belts
* Wood / polished Moto-Lita steering wheel
* Cream faced dials
* Mohair hood
* Porsche badging
It drives comortably and easily and goes up the road with a surprising turn of speed followed by a lovely period soundtrack.
This car turns heads like few others and is a surprisingly practical ownership prospect with low running costs, nearly new mechanicals and no concerns over body rust!
