and more or less the same value of my 912e...wonder if he wants to swap ?
Dreaming of driving a pre-A 356, actually commuting in a Cayman and for the weekend, a 911 'thing', with a Carrera 3 engine ( we think).

This was on ebay in june last year judging by the date of the pics I saved on my computer. I can't remember how much it went for or if it attracted any bids at all. Half the pics are the same from the advert then. Not my cup of tea but good luck to the seller.

Look at it another way – if the car is sound and the repair work done well, and the engine and drivetrain are good etc, then that's a cheap way into getting a hot-rod pre-'74 project together.
Sell the wheels and a lot of the other crap, and the starting price for your new project starts to come down even more. With parts sold off, you could be looking at a sound long-hood project for not a lot over £7.5K. Glass front wings, new ST rears, etc etc...
I'm not saying I like the car but one man's bad taste could become another man's outlaw…

This got me thinking, this is how mine was supposed to be when Barry originally bought it 5 or 6 years ago now, LHD, turbo flatnose, black window trim, massive rear arches and wheels with air/cooling vents and whaletail. At least this one is roadworthy.
Can anyone confirm if it is an Evex kit? The front wings are the spitting image if not.
And I've just spotted that it has an MFI engine. I'm in agreement with Keith that this could be good for pre 74 hot rod project if the base is good. Or even to just get rid of the rear wing would make it look better imho...
