Hi , I have to confess I am a Porsche nut, can't get enough of them, I have it bad, it's an incurable disease, you have to have your fix. Dr Porsches pill ! This slogan was used in the 70's / 80's on Porsche adverts how true.

Personally I like the earlier cars, I did not believe they were as good as written about, drive one and you will see, its heaven on earth. They are light, twichy, fantastic feel thru the wheel, puts a smile on my face everytime I drive one.
The noise, bark from the short stroke engines, smell of oil and fuel is magic, starting the engine is an occasion as it jumps to life, like a terrier !

I have an understanding wife who allows this disease to get worse.

The following are in my collection :-

64 356C coupe red
66 230SL Pagoda
70 911E 2.2 coupe Yellow
72 911T /ST 2.4 lightened balanced, ported, long crank solex cams 66ali case twin triple weber 40's, scolloped flywheel, SSI's Dansk Silver
78 M471 Exact 2.7RS replica built using new porsche parts to get the chrome as it was in the 70's 2.4 MFI engine fitted with 2.7 barrels & pistons ported heads S cams, SSI dansk, recalbrated Pump. White with Blue script.

Some project cars yet to decide what to do with them:-

71 2.2T Coupe complete car barn find dry stored 10yrs.
71 911 with 3.2 twinplug twin triple weber 46's RS look full racing car.

welcome to the forum !
Besides an understanding wife you must have a lot of garage space and a goodly cash pile to work with !
I love the early cars too , but they dont like the UK climate much....will soon be time to go into winter hibernation to avoid all that salt and slush :?
