Im the proud owner of an original RHD 911T 1970 2.2 litre Sportomatic in original Silver ( and rust ) with a black interior.
All's good except the car's in bits with Russell Lewis awaiting a new clutch. Once that's in I'll be up and running!

please tell me your keeping it sportomatic? they are superb cars, it just takes a little practice to learn how to get the best out of them. once you have then you can beat just about anything off the lights

Hi all - thanks for the warm welcome! Yup Helen It's going to stay standard and Sportomatic through and through. As so many people converted Sportomatics to a manual gearbox I had quite a challenge to find this one! It just makes so much sense as I do a lot of city commuting. The original 14" Fuchs have been restored and its on the correct new, period correct Michelins. The suspension and ride over road humps is almost sublime and I love the light weight when compared to my previous 1989 3.2 Carrera Targa. I'm thinking that perhaps Sportomatics will become ever more valuable in the course of time due to their rarity now in surviving numbers. Perhaps you can share the secret of those fast starts!

keep your foot on the break while keeping the revs up. when lights change lift the brake and exellerate
