Story of the Speedsters*2 and a Number 2

Saw two really beautiful Speedster 1600 Supers together in a car park on the road somewhere between St. Moritz in Switzerland and Colico on Lake Como in Italy. One silver and one black and in totally amazing condition.
I just saw them out of the corner of my eye as I was speeding along with a friend and my 3 year old boy. Pulled over real quick and have to say what a thrill it was to see them together.
Only trouble was that I didn't have my camera. My friend did but suddenly my boy needed to poo real fast
(too much icecream!) so we had to run across the road to a tiny restaurant the drivers had stopped at for refreshments (or similar activity to my boy - who knows 
).
As we climbed up to the toilet we could see the drivers leaving the restaurant and my poor wee boy cried and cried and cried because he wanted to hear the engines starting (makes you proud doesn't it) but we had to attend to his business rather more urgently.
Well, the 356's took some time to get their engines going apparently so we did mange to see and hear them just as we were leaving the toilet. Watched them pull off on what can only be a fun adventure. Although the roads they were about to face heading to St. Moritz would surely have tested their pulling power - amazing almost vertical roads with almost 360 degree turns.
Oh, yes, my friend did take some photos but they are crap. He didn't even get one of the two cars together (which was certainly a major part of the thrill for me). I will post them whenever he sends them on to me.
Now, I have no idea if these were the real deal or replicas because there condition was just like brand new and I have no experience of these beauties beyond drooling over them here and in magazines. Oh, they both had 356 in their number plates which might be clue for anybody who knows or owns them.
