Esp LHD.

So as the euro continues to plummet against the pound are we seeing a cooling down of the mass exodous of LHD Porkers and other classics to the continent :?:

And if so what does this have in store for the value of UK classics as it was supposedly the European demand that has been propping prices up through the post 2008 recession.

Not noticed a cooling down yet but then I don't follow things that closely.
Penny for your thoughts....

Really ?
Pistonheads and Classic cars for sale used to proudly boast
'This vehicle sold through our website' etc. A couple of years ago one in 10 advertised cars sold this way. Now thats a very rare boast simply because they aren't selling !
Many vendors are still living in 2006 and price their cars accordingly. Many of these cars have been advertised for over 18 months and the penny still hasn't dropped.
No cooling down in ASKING PRICES but my guess is that if push came to shove many vendors would accept 20 - 30 % less . The economic outlook is even bleaker than last year so many vendors just want rid of what could be a real financial burden. I was recently searching for a replacement for my old 911S and was amazed how cheaply you can buy really decent cars !
I think the exception would be the top end of the market ( £ 100,000 + ). Many of these cars are still bought by investors.
