well it seems to be attracting quite a lot of interest and is already over the £ i would be willing to give for it, barring in mind how much work the seller openly admits needs doing, and it wouldn't suprise me to find out it needed more than he admits to.
i'd be tempted to leave it looking how it does (as it looks reasonable to me) and have some fun with it. i'd only restore it back to Pre impact-bumper when it needed some bodywork doing.

Hey, well done Matt.
Be sure to keep us posted on the progress. When are you planning to start? Are you doing the work yourself?

Fantastic
Loads of pics please !!!
Thought of doing this myself, but complete lack of talent, money and brave pills stopped me (other than that I was all set to do it)
Do you think you can get it re registered correctly at a 72 car (tax free ??)

Good man. Brave move - but it will be worth it. I see you own another great car - unfortunately my early 928 had to go to acquire the 2.2S - but I still have a soft spot for them. Chalk & cheese but great to have both.
