I would just like to say a big hello to DDK'ers
I am a big fan of the mark. Since my very first taste in my uncle's 914 through the mountain roads of Southern Italy.
My car is a 1984 carrera 3.2. Lowered, full Dansk SS system, no pre-silencer.
Engine is standard apart from K&N air filter and frequent oil changes - nowt but the best oil in my old lady.
Car has been recently restored. The dreaded kidney bowl attack, both sides and repaint both sides of car. Im very lucky to have a brother and dad in the motor trade for the welding and mechanics. I managed to log all the work with pictures. The car had to go to a professional paintshop for the paintwork.
Im very into motorbikes, motocross, motoGP, suppose it's everything with a motor and wheels.cycle racing, but now just cycle for fitness. My brother, also a Porsche fan, and I race karts for trackday fun at circuits in kent area, 2 Tony karts senior and junior max and my near new Birel Senior max.
I hope I can pick some brains on here, and also give some advice too.
