Hi all,
I've been signed up to DDK for a while, another member linked the site for an interesting 911 build.

I have owned a 911 for 6 years, during that time its been hiding at my mum's house, in storage and finally restored and modified to look RS spec at my fathers Bodyshop, yet I have still to drive it more than a mile... Which I plan to put right this year!

The plan is for it to look exactly like an RS inside and out but 3.2 running gear, not ground breaking but it works for sure.
Its the car I have wanted since first going to watch the Frank Shorter sponsered Porsche championship...

I'll post some progress pics once I have been in touch with the mods I think this is the only forum I have joined where I may have to be listed as a trader which is a little ironic as I'm here for the cars!

Welcome, why do you think you need to be registered on here as a trader?

Hi Cris and welcome. looking forward to seeing some photos. and you really MUST get to drive that car this year. how about popping along to a meet at The fairmile, Cobham you should find the next meet posted in the events section of the forum. i think the next one is on 17th March.

My day job involves playing with Porsche cars, mainly Aircooled, and I would like to get started off on the right foot so to speak. I have pm'ed the mod of the New members forum to check.

I will no doubt be wandering along to a meet, 17th March normally involves Green flags and booze for me though, I shall see what the Irish contingent of the house has to say on the matter, lol

Thanks Bootsy and Helen for the hello's
Cris

Ed: I pm'ed Miggs but just noticed you guys are site admin aswell so perhaps you can advise me

Bootsy makes the rules (he is the BOSS) but, my understanding is that the term trader only applies to those that make their living through buying and selling cars & parts and who would like to sell via DDK (which is most welcome) for this a small fee is asked of them in order to help run the forum.

several of the regular traders contribute alot more by way of an advertising banner at the top of the forum as well as giving advice/help to members.
