Hi All,

Although I'm unlikely to ever own anything younger than a 964, I've joined up because this is clearly the place to learn about early 911s. Hopefully by infusing some of your knowledge I'll be able to spot the differences between an E, T and S and be able to appreciate them more. If I'm lucky, I might even be able to spot the difference between a real RS and a replica  .

To date, my only experience of an early 911 is a taxi ride in John Liles' car and I believe that's not exactly standard when you lift the rear engine cover! So, if any of you will be out on track at the forthcoming Oulton RS day in your early 911 or replica of....I wouldn't mind a passenger ride

All the best

Steve
