The roadster was on a trailer in a layby on the A12 when an truck entered a bit too fast and ran over everything including the tow vehicle.
I remember putting the Roadster up in the air with a fork truck and breaking it for Tony back in about 1987. I was a 15 year old kid.
We then arranged to have it crushed into a cube so Tony could have it as a coffee table

That must now rate as the most expensive coffee table in the world.
Any chance of restoring it??

I don't think Tony ever got around to using his coffee table.
Think about how much a square block of steel weighs and think about getting it to your living room

I remember a photo of Tony himself in Porsche Post which makes me giggle everytime I think of it.
It's just his head poking out from inside a bouncy castle with a banner on the castle saying "World of children"
