Anyone recognise this racing 356?

Hi,
Just dug up an old pic I took with my phone camera whilst on holiday an while ago.
I've totally forgotten the book- couldnt afford it
- but I wondered if anyone out in DDK land knew of the car, and had any better pictures?

OK, the giveaway is the 550 of Hans Herrmann just poking in the left side of the photo. That was car #55 in the 1954 La Carrera Americana and went on to win its class. The 550 in the foreground confirms the event – car # 58 is the 550 of Fernando Segura from Argentina. So, by process of deduction etc etc, car # 53 is the 356 1500 Super of Ernst-Joachin Hirz of Germany, which finished seventh in class in the 1954 La Carrera Panamericana with a time of 26h 22m 24s (seven hours slower than Herrmann).

Amazing!
Id there a good site/ book etc to look this race up at all?
or is Google the best option here ..?
