Nothing to do with me, but was browsing Car and Classic and noticed there are loads of 912s on there at the moment. Must be people deciding to offload them after the summer. A selection of nice ones:

Were Gas Burners made by Porsche? He describes them in the advert as an "optional extra"

Another big mark up if it sold at sub £8K!

JGE repros are not fogred magnesium as per the Mahle originals and therefore not of the same value.

£7k mark up! They may be RR specialists but they're misleadingly wrong in that ad. It's not on Mahle optional rims but JGE new reps - easily available and cheap too...

They JGE's

They are good repros but nowhere near the value of genuine gasburners.

Still nothing wrong with a markup and its good sometimes to have these high prices on our cars from time to time. Helps to keep everything stable in my opinion.

I think the dude that sold it sold it below market value to be honest, every situation is different though, maybe he required a quick sale.

I agree the add is slightly missleading.

maybe it's had alot of work done at the RR specialists

Crazy prices, the red one is pretty though.

If these are at a true market value I might have to put mine up for sale !

I'm going to readjust the insurance valuation for mine. I have a certificate from Heritage valuing it at £14k in January but think it would be worth more than that now. I've certainly spent alot more than that anyway.
