i believe this car was originally restored some years ago by Tony Outridge at huge expense ...........i knew two very recent owners and it drove superbly, was then maintained to very high standards may have started life as Hell Gelb ?
Surely did nt make asking price ????????

One of my clients has just bought the ex-Bill McGrath 2.4S after I inspected it on Tuesday. It's a lovely car, that needs a bit of TLC.

I notice in one of the car mags that Neil (Hairpin) is advertising a brown 2.4S (LHD?) but it's not on the website yet.

OT but Tony is alive and well in Chesham as Vic said.
He bought the 1975 Carrrea Targa rolling chassis from me and swapped over the original 'S' calipers for me.
Don't know him other than that, but Vic does

- as does Paul at Tuthills as they started ay Autofarm on the same day.
From what I hear he does indeed have an eye for detail.
